Respect in the Workplace: An Interactive & Informational Workshop

Join us for an interactive presentation and discussion on respect in the workplace with Lauren Vasilakopoulos, Human Resources Business Partner for POWDERPURE (IFF). Lauren will discuss the risks and costs associated with inaction (both for the victim and the organization), current trends, and how organizations can proactively address this pervasive issue. Attendees will learn how to identify harassment and what to do if it happens to them in order to protect themselves legally in the Oregon workplace.

About the Presenter
Lauren is an HR Business Partner with International Flavors & Fragrances, Inc. and is currently located at POWDERPURE in The Dalles, OR. She joined IFF in 2014 at their corporate headquarters in New York City as an HR Associate. Since that time she has worked with multiple business units within the organization, everything from manufacturing to C-Suite support. Lauren has a background in employment law where she worked as a senior paralegal right after completing her undergraduate studies. As a generalist, she spends a significant portion of her time focusing on compliance, labor law and policy administration. She is currently pursuing her Master’s degree in Global HR Management at Georgetown University.
